Victoria Falls, known as “The Smoke That Thunders,” was a breathtaking sight to behold. Our adventure began with a helicopter ride, offering a bird’s-eye view of the falls’ immense power and beauty. The sight of the Zambezi River plunging into the gorge, creating a misty veil, was awe-inspiring.
On the ground, we explored the surrounding rainforest, the roar of the falls ever-present. Walking along the trails, we felt the spray on our faces, the sheer force of the water a humbling experience. The view from the Knife-Edge Bridge was particularly spectacular, offering a close-up view of the falls.
In the evening, we enjoyed a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, watching hippos and crocodiles as the sun dipped below the horizon. Victoria Falls’ natural beauty and exhilarating experiences made it a highlight of our trip.
