Blyde River Canyon, one of the largest canyons in the world, offered breathtaking views and thrilling adventures. Our journey began with a drive along the Panorama Route, stopping at viewpoints like God’s Window and the Three Rondavels. The dramatic cliffs and lush vegetation created a stunning landscape.
We hiked through the canyon, exploring its waterfalls, caves, and unique rock formations. The view from the top of the canyon was spectacular, offering panoramic vistas of the Lowveld below.
A boat trip on the Blyde Dam provided a different perspective, with views of the canyon’s towering walls and diverse birdlife. Blyde River Canyon’s natural beauty and thrilling activities made it a highlight of our South African journey.
